Absolute scrumptious food! Thoroughly enjoyed my first Jamie Oliver Italian experience in Edinburgh and can't wait to return. Lovely trendy place and very attentive staff.

Very disappointing.. I'm not sure Jamie Oliver would want to put his name to this restaurant after the experience we had.
Firstly the restaurant is extremely dimly lit. People at tables were having to use the torch on their mobile phones to read the menu- I'm serious!
    Just two of us eating.
Long wait to have our order taken.
Then, over 30 minute wait for our starters to come out- and then only one came out, the second one came 6 minutes later. The cold, soggy bruchetta came first ( waiter apologised- it had sat 5 minutes in the pass) Then the unappetising 'nachos'..
Certainly not worth the 30 minute wait!
No-one ever once asked if we would like more drinks.
Main courses came- the steak was tough, the burger was better but was surprised that I had to order fries with the burger as an 'extra'. Wish I hadn't bothered- the chunky fries came- still hard and undercooked on the inside.
Desserts- tiramisu was not bad, but the choc brownie tasted dry and floury. Very disappointing.
    Overpriced drinks.
    Altogether an underwhelming
experience. Your money would be better spent elsewhere.

Friend and I enjoyed lunch here after Book Festival event. The food was lovely - just what we wanted and service was quick and friendly. However when we arrived we were offered the full A La Carte menu and had to ask for the Super Lunch Menu which was what I had asked for at the time of booking. I mentioned this to the person on the desk as I was leaving.

I've dined here 3 times. I chose the prawn pasta dish but was a bit disappointed - the prawns were a bit tasteless & very small.

the service was woeful! no-one bothered to serve us. all staff are rushing around like very very busy. messy management. one specific waiter to serve one table but you can't find him easily. steak was the worst i have ever eat in Europe. meat was too overcooked.
food came out so slowly and the ice-cream we ordered for kids was forgotten. i don't know what they were rushing for. noisy place for dinner. will never go again to any of the Jaime Oliver. so disappointed!

Really sorry to say that it wasn't a great experience and was pretty underwhelming overall. Started with the gin cocktail on the special board no longer being available then the drinks we did order took ages and we had to ask for them. The service was really slow and every time we wanted to order something we had to flag a waiter/waitress down. The food wasn't that great either, bruschetta was really cold and the croutons in the salad I had were pretty chewy and past their best. Sorry to be so negative but I wanted to give some honest feedback.
