Me and my girlfriend both had the steak with the grilled tomato’s, we both wasn’t best please as the waiter didn’t ask us how we wanted our steaks cooked. We thought they must do them all the same how wrong we was, my girlfriends come out extremely well done and mine came out medium rare!! Very disappointing to say this was our first time visiting a Jamie Oliver restaurant! Also the shared started came out on a big tray and they used canned tomatoe paste to put the tray on. Our first thoughts straight away was they they don’t use fresh ingredients! Over all it was a real disappointment

The service was excellent, as was the food. Had to eat from the veggie menu as so many items on the menu had a combination of beef and pork! I don’t eat pork so was restricted to the veggie menu. I was very disappointed about the toilets, they smelt awful and were a let down as everything else about the restaurant was lovely.

Probably one the worst burger I ever had. However, service was good, attentive, desert also good.

The set menu had a good choice of starters, main dishes and desserts. We liked the food very much, simple and tasty. We did not like the loud music. I was relieved that the waiter turned it down after I asked him. I am surprised loud music should be a feature of so many restaurants in central London. For us, a mix of young and older, it is not conducive to a relaxing dining experience. Otherwise the service was good and we enjoyed the food.

Starter of crispy fried squid was my favourite dish. Loved the red primativo wine too. The beef was not what I was expecting. I ordered chianti beef stew but although tender it seemed a different dish altogether more of a tagliata no lovely wine gravy. That said our waiter was lovely knowledgeable about the wines and fun.

We had the fixed price menu which was good value with two courses for £15. The starter turned up within seconds which gave the impression of mass production and rather large. It felt like a quick turnover restaurant, so ok for a quick bite.

Food was excellent and good value. The service was also impeccable with very friendly waiters and a good ambiance for dinner before going to the opera.
