The food was excellent, the waiter friendly and very helpful. The building was amazing, absolutely beautiful, but with a lack of soft furnishings was very noisy and difficult to hold a conversation. Good to see it busy though.

I visited this afternoon with 4 children for a pre-booked table. Confusion at the meet and greet point left us embarrassed when another diner thought we were queue jumping. Despite the fire alarm ringing out for ten minutes I was pleasantly surprised and pleased that the customer service has greatly improved since our last visit three years ago which had put us off returning ever since. However, the food was terrible. The children ordered burgers which were dry and over cooked, the sweet potato fries had never seen a fryer or a drop of oil, they were undercooked, tastless and cold by the time they arrived at our table. The "ketchup" bottles was sticky and the sauce too sweet. I ordered the Zucca Cannelloni which had obvcously been dragged from either the freezer or very cold fridge and despite the best efforts with a hot grill the bowl was searing hot as was the food around the edge but was stone cold in the middle. There was no difference between the texture throughout the whole dish, pasta and fillings, it was a plate of flavourless beige mush. In all, the children ate little, I ate less than half (from around the edge) and we did not bother with puddings (at the request of the children!). The waiter did not ask why we had left most of the food or seem worried that we not asking for the inclusive puddings for the children. There really was no excuse, it was not even half full and there were plenty of staff. The kitchen really needs sorting out. We left after a very disappointing 45 minutes. Having arrived home I have defrosted some homemade macaroni cheese that we have munched our way though happily!

The service was not great to be honest. We were rushed through to order our meals, the waitress started to clear the plates before everyone had finished for mains and desserts and the whole thing just felt very rushed and not very relaxing. Sorry to say this as the food was lovely but think the staff need a reminder of customer service. We didn’t feel we could pay the optional 12.5% tip because of this so we asked for this to be removed from the bill. Disappointing service.

Service was late and we were in a hurry. Apart from that, the food and the waiting staff were good.

The waiting staff were great - really nice with children. I had thought as a gold card member I would get two free children's meals with one full-paying adult - must have misread my email? ANyway, it led to both twins having full-price main courses (they are big 10 year olds, and didn't fancy the meals on the kids menu), so the whole evening was far more expensive than anticipated. Also, I wasn't impressed with my prawn linguine dish - too tomato-y, and only 2 prawns. Could have made better myself

Lovely setting, love the prawn linguine. Hubby loves the chocolate brownie.
