I have eaten at this restaurant several times in the past and have never been disappointed yet.It is so different from the usual run of the mill Indian menus.I went on valentines day and although the tastes were exquisite I found the starter and sweet portions very small and gone in a mouthful. This was contrary to what I had experienced in the past.Even so great night and bonus points for me.

Booked table for 7pm [...] When we arrived the restaurant was hardly full. Would have prefered to have eaten at 8.30pm...a slight disappointment.

This is no ordinary Indian Restaurant. The food is more traditional based and has flavor never before experienced from your run of the mill Indian. If you are expecting the usual Vindaloo, Balti etc. you won't find it here. But a fantastic range of food on the menu and an award winning restaurant that is well worth a visit.

On a Monday night the restaurant was quiet but the staff were still attentive but not obtrusive. The food was delicious, the wine and beers good quality. I would recommend this restaurant to all lovers of genuine Indian food, just don't expect a Balti or a Vindaloo.
