We returned to Jahangir having had an excellent meal in early July. However, this was NOT a good experience. We had booked a table for 3 persons and were given a table with four places. However, it was right beside a table for two; in fact, no more than 4 or five inches from the other table! This was uncomfortable both for us and also for the other two diners. It felt like they were cramming in as many as they could, regardless of how it might affect the dining experience. It was impossible not to overhear the conversation of the other two diners. They left after one course and were complaining about how the restaurant was being too greedy by maximising the number of covers. We also left after one course, but raised the 'overcrowding' with the waiter, who then called the manager. We had already paid the bill by this time, but were given £20 cash back. There didn't seem to be any appreciation of the point we were making and the £20 was merely because we had complained. We would be unlikely to return to this restaurant, and certainly not when it was likely to be busy. It is a false economy to cram people in, as they stay for one course but then leave as the experience was so uncomfortable. The food was actually very good, but DON'T eat here when it might be busy!

Food was excellent but dishes were cleared before everyone had finished. We had the feeling we were being rushed to leave despite booking our table. The bill was brought out almost immediately after we had finished eating.
