Really excellent experience! The staff was friendly, and helpful - happy to give suggestions and recommendations. I had the prawn appetizer(based on a recommendation from the waiter), and it was a great way to start the meal - good spice level (and the whiskey sour I was drinking did a great job of cooling things). For the entree I had the Gymkhana lamb chops - delicious, and cooked just as I ordered. I was dining solo, while in town on business - but this would be a very nice 'date night' restaurant.

Excellent service - attentive and prompt but not intrusive, Food, as ever, was superb and although the bill is higher than you would expect in an average Indian restaurant its not an issue - it is still great value for money given the quality of the food.

Calm, welcoming atmosphere. Tables beautifully presented with quality tableware. Drinks order was quick. Spoilt only by the extremely long interval to place food order. Food professionally presented and good on taste. Except my particular 'curry' order did rather taste as if made from bottled paste with a couple of dry chillies sprinkled on top to dress the fish.
When ordering, did suggest to waiter that one rice would be sufficient for two people, as we were also having a nan bread, as well. He suggested not; which ended up with two half finished rice pots at end of the meal.

Did have to ask for a finger-bowl to rinse fingers as this was not offered, nor were hot finger towels.

Waiters were friendly, when we could get their attention.

Overall, a pleasant evening. A few small details would have made it an even better experience.
