Restaurant description

Famed for its interactive tabletops, inamo Camden offers futuristic ordering and modern Asian favourites, moments from Central London.

inamo Camden’s beautiful outside areas have been transformed for winter with 3 stunning pop-up igloos, furnished with sheepskin rugs, dressed with floral decorations & fairy lights, and featuring their own heaters and speaker system.

inamo showcases a range of dishes designed for sharing, featuring sushi and sashimi, inventive Asian tapas and a host of perfected signature dishes. Sample dragon roll, wasabi prawns, beef tataki, or larger sharing dishes including Szechuan chicken, crispy duck, and yuzu pork belly, whilst dishes from the outdoor robata grill include delicious BBQ Banh Mi, such as succulent pork slathered in teriyaki sauce. For dessert indulge in the likes of apple gyoza and caramel ice cream, or a candy floss garden with chocolate tree trunk on a landscape of crushed Oreo.

Sakes, world wines, Japanese beers and tropical fruit juices make up the drinks menu, and there are cocktails matched for pre, during and post-meal sipping.

Voted most loved local restaurant in Camden and best place to drink in the sun, inamo is a truly unique restaurant in London. Find Camden inamo a minute’s walk from Mornington Crescent Tube Station.

What a fantastic place.. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we had a superb dining experience. Michelle was warm and welcoming and showed us to our igloo.. such a magical environment. We wasn’t rushed or harassed throughout our mammoth taster menu and the food was divine (enough to feed 4 people at least).

We were a bit disappointed as I do not eat sushi which I advised when I paid the deposit when making the booking. I was not advised then that we would not be ble to have everything on the menu because of this my friend missed out on other types of fish on menu. Also the dessert on menu was not available, neither of us enjoyed the replacement dessert with Banana at all.

Food is good, but not great. Service was really bad, although the waiter was trying hard, they were super confused. Is expensive for what it offers.

Having eaten here before a couple of times this was an obvious choice for a birthday occasion. The staff were fabulous throughout the whole experience. A particular shout out to Christina (sorry if that's not how you spell it) our hostess, she was utterly amazing to the point we actually asked if we could take her home (not in a freaky way!). The food as ever was amazing and although it looks like small portions, its actually incredibly deceptive! Bang Bang cauliflower was beautiful as were the chicken wings and the beef slices.

The food was great however I was very dissapointed that the interactive table didn’t work at all and the tables were so crammed together we felt like we were eating with the people sat either side of us.

The concept of this restaurant sounds good but in reality is just a bit disappointing. The interactive table games and drawing tools are not anywher near what they could be technology wise. Moving onto the food the overall standard of flavour and freshness is good but it's very overpriced and my advice would be to only come here if you are using a voucher or money saving deal as otherwise you will find the bill a bit steep
