Recommended in the Michelin Guide, Imperial China London specialises in traditional Cantonese dishes and exquisite dim sum. Outside, a bridge sits over a carp pond surrounded by waterfalls, whilst the interior is bright and contemporary.

The Imperial China restaurant menu is led by signature seafood dishes and Chinese favourites. Sample fresh lobster with ginger and spring onion, fried squid with spicy salt and pepper, or the classic aromatic duck with pancakes. Other favourites include sweet and sour chicken, and stir-fried fillet steak cubes with mushrooms.

The Imperial China dim sum menu showcases handcrafted authentic recipes such as steamed pork dumplings and deep-fried pork pastries. From the bar, choose from a range of wines, beers and spirits.

Imperial China in Chinatown sits on the edge of Soho, just a 2-minute walk from Leicester Square Tube Station. The theatres of the West End, as well as Trafalgar Square and Covent Garden are all a short walk away.

    Thoroughly enjoyed it

we received a very bad reception, with an unpleasant service: servers that do not look at us, do not respond to solicitations or questions.
despite a perfectly correct nourishment, we do not recommend.

An excellent pre-theatre dining experience. The Cantonese duck was particularly delicious and we also enjoyed the fried Ho Fun noodles wih beef. Very efficient and courteous service. The tables are not too close to each other and there is no music. It was lovely to be able to talk quietly with our guests.

They didn't seem to have got the information. We were offered a table in a separate room without windows. They only gave us another table unwillingly. We didn't get want we ordered and were only presenterd the plates without any further. But the food itself was excellent. So food, five stars, service one star; that's three on average.

Excellent food, and highly accommodating staff.

The food was good and service was not bad either. However, they should recommend the amount of food that customer orders, specially if a customer appears to have ordered too much. The staff should make them aware of that. I took my colleague for lunch and we ordered way too much than we could eat. It is hard to know how many portions of dim sum to order. The waiter should advise rather than taking the approach of the more you order the more money we make. This is irresponsible and unethical.
