Steeped in history, Illtud's 216 restaurant in Llantwit Major is set in a 16th century malt house, which provides an intriguing ambience to perfectly complement the excellent selection of food and drink available.
Awarded an AA Rosette for their excellent quality cuisine, owners George and Einar Fuchs have set out to produce a delicious menu of seasonal comfort food all prepared using predominantly local Welsh ingredients. The menu showcases some truly mouth-watering dishes such as the Welsh Red Dragon Mustarded Sirloin Steak, Brecon Beacon Venison Haunch, braised in juniper berry sauce, and Pan Seared Sea Bass Fillet.
Additionally, Illtud's 216 serves a children's menu, a business lunch during the week and a traditional Sunday lunch with live music performances. The restaurant can also accommodate a range of celebratory and corporate functions, from birthdays and stag and hen nights, to meetings and team building events.
