Set moments from one of London's most iconic shopping areas, Shoryu New Oxford Street is a chic, minimalist setting for celebrated ramen dishes, along with other traditional and contemporary Japanese flavours, including premium sakes.
The varied Shoryu menu is headed by ramen noodle dishes, made with 12-hour-cooked broth, juicy pork belly and a nitamago egg. Guests can select extra toppings, as well as sides like prawn tempura, gyoza dumplings and doughy shoryu buns. Traditional desserts at Shoryu include mochi balls, cleansing sorbets and Japanese-inspired cheesecakes and cakes.
Along with a list of enticing house cocktails, Shoryu in the West End of London serves iced beers and Japanese whisky, and a sake-expert sommelier is on hand to help with matching drinks. In the dining room, guests can dine at communal benches for views into the kitchen, at private tables, all in chic, minimalist surroundings with Japanese stylistic touches.
A great example of modern contemporary Japanese dining, Shoryu New Oxford Street is a 2-minute walk from Tottenham Court Road Tube Station.

Such a shame this changed to Shoryu from Ichiryu, they used to have variety of udon noodles but they are now restricted to only 2 kinds to choose from. Still great food & quality though! Will keep coming back to this place purely for good food & location.
