Great staff who were very helpful/knowledgeable on their wine selection. Monday’s wines are 50% of .. great value. My only query why did we not get full size dinner plates with main course?

Yes the wine selection is amazing, and we love the sample flights with tasting notes which always introduce us to new wines. But the food is seriously good as well and I've been going even while pregnant for it! Perfect croquettes, fantastically cooked (and good value) cote de boeuf to share. Desserts not quite as interesting (cheese looked good but I can't have the best stuff at the moment) but you're 2 mins walk from Amorino for ice cream afterwards in case nothing catches your fancy

It's always a pleasure to dine at The Humble Grape, staff are always helpful and welcoming, but on this occasion my main course (lamb) was not up to standard.I made that known and the response was not to charge for my or my companion's dessert. Fair enough - but I'd rather have had an enjoyable main course. Nonetheless, I shall be back.
