The food was tasty and of a high standard. We booked the 3 course festival deal with free glass of prosecco which was very good value for money. Service was excellent, friendly and unobtrusive.

Friendly and efficient service . Starters and mai courses good. Dessert menu limited and too many chocolatey things in dessert we had.

Very good food in a relaxed, NOT noisy environment, which sadly is hard to find these days. The ambient music was relaxing; in the background, not in your head.

Perfect for a pre theatre dinner and we didn't feel rushed.

Excellent venue for pre-theatre dining. Set menu interesting & good value. Service impeccable - always asking first which theatre you will be attending (if at all), so that they can ensure you will complete your meal in good time. It's a pity the National Theatre cannot flag up your presence more effectively. Difficult to find on first visit.

The place was really quite when we got there but then more customer arrived later around 21:00/21:30. In some way this was really good because it gave us time to chat properly, without having to shout. The food was really good. Portion were perfectly balanced and the flavor really tasty. The staff was really friendly. The deal for £22 for 2 courses or £26 for 3 courses including a glass of wine was excellent.
