Atmosphere was great staff friendly, service timings were ok, not overly attentive. Food was not great, I had carpaccio beef, it was like the dirt of beef you might buy pre sliced from a supermarket. I was with business clients so tricky to complain. Wine was good value and great service from the sommelier.

Love the ambiance of HdV Bristol dining room, the food was delicious and came out at good intervals. The only comment is that there seem to be a lot of different staff bringing food and drink to the table. Would prefer one server as it's a bit full on, but all staff are very polite. Was a bit shocked to be charged £45 for a bottle of Prosecco, would NOT have ordered this if we had known. The 3-course meal is very good value for money.

Impeccable service as always and the food was delicious. We were looked after from start to finish with a lovely drink in the bar where we were looked after by waiters.
