Hotel du Vin Brighton offers elegant French bistro dining a stone’s throw from the seafront. In inviting mock-Tudor surroundings, there are private and al fresco dining options, and regular events such as champagne festivals.
The Hotel du Vin menu celebrates elegant French bistro-style dining, using fresh, premium, locally sourced ingredients. Delicate starters such as tiger prawns in garlic and pastis butter give way to bold mains, which include a hearty classic cassoulet with white beans and confit duck, sole meuniere or a baked aubergine and halloumi parmigiana. A Sunday lunch menu and range of superb desserts also feature.
The Hotel du Vin restaurant wine list is a highlight, featuring a huge variety of carefully selected bottles. Dark leather chairs and stained-wood tables sit alongside the colourful, bustling bar area, ensuring an elegant yet informal ambience.
Featuring a diverse menu and inviting ambience, Brighton Hotel du Vin sits just 4 minutes’ drive from Brighton Rail Station.

Excellent market stall. Main course of fish was undercooked but was not charged for. Should point out that Sunday menu is fixed price and no a la carte.

Location and staff were excellent. Buffet starters were good but the main courses were a bit disappointing. I had fish and chips and the batter was quite soggy and not crisp at all. Overall a good lunch

The food and service was lovely. My son had just completed the Brighton Marathon and was offered a free prosecco. Other than the five us being seated near the kitchen everything was lovely

Mainly good food, disappointed with cheese plate for a high end French style bistro. Service very attentive however they were confused about the offer that had been booked. Good value for money but, for reasons I can't quite put my finger on, we're unlikely to return. Would have been disappointed to have paid a la carte prices

It's a bistro! So quite dark and waiters are dressed casually. The b3gtarian options are pedestrian and they got the bill wrong!

Staff were friendly enough and the restaurant is nice however we had to wait an hour for main dish to arrive. Had to pay 1.60 for soda water, ridiculous. No complimentary bread, has to pay for vergerables with the cottage pie, again ridiculous. All in all it was ok but won’t go back nor recommend :(
