Restaurant description

One of only a handful of Tudor barn structures still standing in the UK, Heritage Restaurant & Bar in Eltham is a beautifully-renovated historic venue. Offering refined brasserie dining, the restaurant spills out onto a tranquil, waterside al fresco terrace.

Modern European influences and traditional British character collide on the Heritage menu. Chargrilled beef fillet is served with wild mushroom and truffle wellington and rossini sauce, while a rich roasted pheasant breast is stuffed with chestnuts and served with butternut squash cake and red wine reduction. Sharing plates include a mammoth surf and turf combination of whole Cornish lobster and 14oz melt-in-the-mouth chateaubriand, with a ‘Tudor feast’ option allowing guests to pool dishes together for a sociable dining experience.

Rustic Tudor beams and elegant, chunky wooden tables characterise the Heritage restaurant, where a light brunch menu is also available. Drinks bring together classy, timeless cocktails, eclectic French and New World wines and big-name beers.

Heritage Restaurant & Bar in Eltham is in a leafy suburb of Greenwich, a 5-minute walk from Eltham Station.
