Voted Best Steak Restaurant in London by Bookatable users, Heliot Steak House offers panoramic views of the main gaming floor at the Hippodrome Casino. Serving some of the best value USDA prime steak in the capital, the restaurant is sited on the first floor of the country’s largest casino, and diners can enjoy the atmosphere of this iconic West End venue in Leicester Square.

Heliot Steak House has attracted rave reviews for its inspired menu, created by head chef Ioannis Grammenos. Classic steaks are joined on the menu by a selection of exciting dishes, including mushroom ravioli with a truffle and parmesan sauce, a punchy prawn linguini with chilli, ginger & datterino tomatoes, and lamb cutlets served with caramelised shallots and baby veg. Discover decadent side dishes like the legendary millionaire’s mac 'n' cheese topped with a poached duck egg and black truffle.

At the weekend, enjoy an all-American brunch, with a make-you-own bloody Mary bar, and dishes including a pancake stack, eggs benedict and country fried steak.

After a £50m transformation, The Hippodrome Casino offers 4 floors of gaming, an award-winning cabaret theatre and six bars open 24/7. Leicester Square Tube Station sits just next door.

Please note, diners must be over 18 years old, and photographic ID will be required if they appear to be under 25 years old.

Great food and wonderful atmosphere. One little downer was having gone there on the star deal when we wanted to upgrade the meal, with us paying much more we were told that parts of the star deal, the part with the £50 free chip were taken away. Did not understand why upgrading and paying more would mean we loss part of the star meal deal.

Fantastic surroundings and the surf and turf star deal is a bargain. I recommend the Australian Cab Sav to go with your dinner - at £50 it's not cheap and there are much cheaper options but this was a lovely accompaniment. You also have optional additional side dishes - these are very good value for a West End restaurant.
Great service and will be returning with friends!

Very mixed views on our experience - undoubtedly a great value for money offer in superb venue in a brilliant location right in the heart of London. All that said we didn't have the best experience. The offer of a steak, lobster, champagne and a bet all for £20 is a great deal The menus is really flexible and for £7 you can upgrade your steak to fillet or sirloin and you can also add sides as you want which were really well priced.

All 4 of our steaks were cooked perfectly however, sadly all of our lobster tails were very dry and overcooked, sides were good quality but were not hot by the time they arrived. Service was poor, it started with our waitress dropping tray of champagne over our table and drenching one of us, she was very upset and we know that these things happen. However, the service didn't improve much, they didn't have the wine we wanted, the brought the wrong order to one of our table and quickly whisked it away once they realised - but we then had to wait until the right steak was ready, the lobster was dry, sides were cold, they forgot one of our desserts and it was really difficult to get any attention of waiters. They didn't charge us for sides (£6) and knocked 25% off the bill (which covered the service which was added on). Could have ben a great experience but sadly disappointed,

The atmosphere was good and the service was good. My main reason for dining here was the steak and I was very disappointed as I asked my t bone steak to be cooked medium but it was cooked well which made it dry. I complained to the staff waiting our table and he said he would go to the kitchen and find out what can be done but he didn’t say anything regarding the steak when he came back. At that point I couldn’t the bothered and left the steak on the plate which was a waste of my money and it took away from the experience.
