Hélène Darroze, one of France’s most celebrated and distinguished chefs, has crafted a truly superlative dining experience at Hélène Darroze at The Connaught. Awarded 2 Michelin stars, and recipient of an astounding 4 AA Rosettes to date, the restaurant offers an unsurpassed taste of fine French dining.

Taking huge pride in the regional and seasonal ingredients used, the Hélène Darroze at The Connaught menu also showcases Hélène’s gastronomic roots from the Landes region of south west France. Duck foie gras is served with walnut wine reduction, dried fruit chutney and amaranth leaves, while sumptuous blue lobster is combined with piquant flavours, such as fresh Alphonso, green mango, coriander and pimientos del piquillo. As well as dedicated brunch and vegetarian menus, Hélène Darroze at The Connaught Mayfair offers diners eclectic Vietnamese flavours and other Asian influences.

Offering the pinnacle in personalised fine dining, the Hélène Darroze sommelier’s table is housed in a stunning private dining room that overlooks a limestone-clad cellar housing over 6,000 vintage wines. For dinner, bespoke 7-course menus are specially designed by Hélène Darroze to match a tailor-made selection of wines, while 4-course seasonal lunches are prepared to match the wine regions that have inspired the 2 Michelin star chef. Enjoy luxurious flavour combinations accompanied by bins from some of the world’s most celebrated wine regions. (Please note that only the a la carte menu is available at the weekend, not the lunch set menu.)

Boasting gloriously elegant surroundings, Hélène Darroze at The Connaught London is just 7 minutes’ walk from Bond Street Tube Station.

The staff was fantastic. Everyone had a different favorite. Mine was the lobster, others picked the lamb, and ice cream.

Wonderful as always. The lunch deal is exceptional value. Exquisite food, well paired wines. This restaurant always gets it right. There's the beautiful glassware that tap water comes out in, the cutlery that feels just weighty enough and most importantly the ability to turn out perfect dishes every time. The staff are attentive but not intrusive. This is a cut above other 2 star restaurants.

innovative and fun presentation of the menu - created a nice table atmosphere and chat about the options.
The food was superb and beautifully presented, and the service excellent. We spent over 5 hours over lunch there..... so it must gave been good!
The wine list was vast, but sommelier help was good, neverrheless although we had good wines not at top prices, this was very expensive.

Was a fantastic dining experience, excellent food and service from start to finish in a charming wood-panelled room. We had the 5 course a la carte menu which was a delight, with a good range of options and some stand out dishes; their rhubarb desert and pigeon for two come to mind. Flavours were rich and varied, and dishes were elegantly presented. The wine list was spectacular with some excellent wines by the glass which is always a pleasant touch. The only, and very minor, disappointment was the cake they gave us to take away, it was an extra and a pleasant surprise but overdone and ultimately disappointing after such a wonderful meal. This was a very minor complaint however and I would return and would recommend with enthusiasm.

Too expensive for what it is. I was not Wawed by the food or drinks. The service was way too slow. We had to pay for a ordinar main and an ordinar ice-cream for our daughter aged 5 the price of a full 3 course menu (£55).

Excellent. Never been to a 2 star Michelin before and was rather worried the experience may be a little cloying with waiters fawning over us. However the service was superb, never intrusive. The food was was delightful. The Scallop dish, the Onion Dish and the Lobster dish were all standouts. The dishes were small but satisfying and we did not feel any desire to eat until late at night. The whole experience was a wonderful, pampered way to spend a 2 and a half hours. Obviously it was a little expensive. I shan't be doing it it weekly or monthly but as a very special occasion event I will very possibly go again.

We went for the 3-course lunch menu - our favourite parts were the snacks and the petits fours. The green apple & basil, and the chocolate & hazelnut sweets were amazing. Halibut main was also excellent. Found the service good but a little overbearing at first, and then the starters took a while to arrive. Overall though, an excellent standard of cooking and a lovely setting.

This was a wedding Anniversary celebration so we wanted to go somewhere that created a memorable and enjoyable experience. Helene Darroze at the Connaught did exactly that! We chose the 5 course tasting menu with wine pairings which turned out to be a great combination with the wine pairings very much complimenting the food with wines that we would not have chosen ourselves. The food was outstanding and deserving of 2 Michelin stars. The service was very professional and attentive and we liked the formal atmosphere of the dining room. A lovely evening that very much met our objectives!
