A classic British pub in the centre of Edinburgh, Haymarket is a cosy hideaway filled with dark stained wood, and a sweeping bar. With a menu packed with British classics, there is also a great selection of cask ales on tap.
Since Nicholson’s pubs were first established in 1873, these traditional British inns have become synonymous with warm hospitality, hearty pub food and a speciality range of ales. As well as always featuring British pub classics like beer-battered fish & chips and gammon & eggs, the Haymarket menu is complemented by a rotating selection of pie, sausage & chop and fish specials for each season.
The Haymarket bar is always stocked with exquisite gins, warming whiskies and fine wines to pair with favourite meals, and there’s always a superb range of seasonal and regional real ales on offer. A constant at the bar is the St Austell-brewed Nicholson’s Pale Ale, made with Cornish Maris Otter malts, and a hand-picked blend of English hops.
A popular pub for visitors to the nearby Murrayfield Stadium, Haymarket Edinburgh also sits just 3 minutes' walk from Haymarket Rail Station.

Good varied menu. Dining area within a noisy busy pub. All diners very satisfied with their meal. Food was cooked to order so there was a bit of a wait. Staff attentive.

The staff were very friendly.. nicely laid out tables affording some privacy, the menu was exceptional catering for all preferences..food was good...only critisism was that they had been under overhead heating for too long or at too high a temperature which tends to dry out food....still Saturday evening during the Fringe festival I suppose a lot of venues were busy.
