Restaurant description

On the site of the old Watney-Combe brewery, Hawksmoor Seven Dials offers exquisite steaks and sensational cocktails. Critically acclaimed Hawksmoor is widely renowned as offering London's best steak and Sunday roasts.

For the true steak fanatics, Hawksmoor in vibrant Covent Garden offers an exclusive ‘Beef Steak Club.' Diners can tailor-make their Hawksmoor experience to personal tastes by choosing an individual cut of meat. Alongside the succulent meat dishes, native lobster with garlic butter, or sea bream with chilli, rosemary and garlic offer tantalising alternatives.

An eclectic wine list at Hawksmoor London London offers choices from obscure, selective growers as well as big name vineyards. A decadent range of classic desserts round things off, such as the rich Hawksmoor sticky toffee pudding or peanut butter shortbread.

An instant classic since it opened, Hawksmoor Seven Dials is just 3 minutes' walk from Covent Garden Tube Station. The dress code is smart casual, and please note Sunday roasts are not available after 5pm.

Excellent food. Lovely staff. Great for after theatre with their late service.

A wonderfully relaxed venue with very attentive staff who were extremely pleasant and knowledgeable with their own menus and chef teams. The food was cooked and seasoned to perfection. I started with the potted beef & bacon with Yorkshire puddings which were extreme light. My partners starter was the scollops which fresh and succulent. We both enjoyed fillet of beef for our mains and both were cooked to perfection.

Food was amazing, the atmosphere was nice, had an underground feel. Steaks were so good, it’s filling so go with an empty stomach. Loved the sticky toffee pudding!

The staff was very friendly from the moment we arrived. We had 3 courses meal and a drink for £30 which it was great deal. The portion size of each meal was very good and the quality was excellent! The only criticism is that they would not change the drink for my partner as they said they had very strict rules with the deal. It was a fun cocktail and my partner doesn’t like gin. In the end they agreed to give him a soft drink instead.

Great location and setting. Fantastic menu which was very good value indeed. Starter was almost a main course on its own and was stunning. Steak main course unfortunately all went wrong - they mixed up the steaks and one was half a pile of fat so not great. However, they were very apologetic and gave us free sides and another bottle of wine so would recommend!
