Awesome steaks cooked perfectly as requested. The chips and sauces were terrific too as was the spinach. Steaks were thick cut and seasoned well. Service was fantastic from the moment we arrived and the staff were attentive without being intrusive.

Polite staff, great menu, fresh ingredients, attentive service - all the elements of an excellent experience. One just wishes a little more choice on wines by the glass.

The restaurant affords a warm and welcoming environment with friendly staff who made the tastiest drinks for us while we waited for our table, and chatted to us about the fine art of mixing drinks! The meal itself was exquisite, enjoying the three course set menu for two - highlight the rump steak cooked to perfection! It ended beautifully as the staff took my request to bring a special birthday dessert for my partner. All in all we enjoyed a quality meal in a truly fine establishment. Many thanks Hawksmoor Air Street!

Booked on a Tuesday and had been told this was a good place for steaks - arrived and place pretty packed and incredibly noisy - st the level to shout when speaking and we were placed near a table with lots of children- we asked to be moved - still noisy.
Food - I had the beef and Yorkshire which tasted very much of lard - did not eat - my friend had mackerel but was full of bones and encased in a little jar which made it hard to eat. For main I had steak that was so charcoaled thhe taste lingered and my friend who ordered lamb had steak presented - in fairness the manager took or food away to start again. We then had a pavlova desert which must rank as the worst I have ever tasted - weird bits of fruit over it which tasted bitter and odd - also they only brought 1 desert when we ordered 2- we did not complain as just wanted to leave - it was awful and could still taste the charcoal hours later - one to forget completely- too many good steak places to go / this is not one of them

Lovely restaurant and really good service. Disappointing to get burnt toast with the starter - that was a bad start to the meal. Peppercorn sauce was way too salty as well. Overall we had a nice time but I think restaurants with that kind of price should pay a bit more attention to detail. A chef really shouldn't be sending burnt toast out of the kitchen, and the salt in the sauce made the main meal a bit of a chore despite the really well cooked steak. We paid 100 pounds for this meal which is a huge amount for us so a bit disappointing.
