As always our meal was excellent. The staff are very attentive and we had.no complaints at all. We will continue to go to Havelock as long as we can.

The food was great. Unfortunately once the food and drinks were brought to the table we were entirely ignored by the wait staff.

Love eating at Haveli. Good atmosphere and the food is absolutely superb. When the restaurant is busy and there are a lot of take away customers, the service can be a bit slow but on this occasion it was nice and smooth and may have coincided with only a small number of take away visitors.
It’s tempting to go with what you have tried before but I went with the Curried Mussels Starter which has a lovely broth and for Mains, the Lamb Shank just fell off the bone with a sauce that has a nice kick.
Can’t wait till our next visit.

We visited Haveli on 27/10/18 for my sister in laws 40th birthday. Overall we had a great time and the food was lovely. The only thing which enjoyed us was twice we asked for pints of lager and on both occasions the waitress brought us bottled lager. The first time we just let it go but the second time we asked if the bottles could be replaced for pints. The waitress was adamant that the bottled lager was a pint / large beer. It took four of us to request it to be changed to pints, eventually another waitress came over to serve us after about 15 minutes of waiting (at this point we wished we just kept the bottles!)

Another thing was when I booked the table online it asked if it was for an occasion so I stated it was for a 40th birthday but my sister in law didn’t receive anything when we got there. I’m not sure what it was I was expecting but why ask the question in the first place?

    Thanks
