We had a fabulous time! Efficient, friendly staff; nothing was too much trouble. The food was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. It was lovely to eat homemade preserves, memories of childhood! The Berwick Cream Tea was fabulous!

Very nice afternoon tea. Good service from friendly staff, beautiful surroundings and we were not rushed at all. The cakes were bite sized so you could try them all. Nice touch to have a chocolate trifle.

The place was beautiful, and the cakes were delicious. Really enjoyed my afternoon tea. Couldn't fault it at all. Lanes leading up to the place were a little bumpy and tight but totally worth it when you get to your destination. Will be recommending to many friends :) Thankyou for a lovely afternoon. This was an afternoon tea celebration for a friend's 80th birthday which surpassed expectations. We received a very warm welcome not only by the staff but a fabulous roaring fire in the reception area. We were shown into a beautiful room with lovely comfy sofas and a table set ready. After putting in our tea requests we sat back to take it all in and chatted away until the food arrived, which all looked wonderful, with a candle in a cake for our friend, a thoughtful touch. It all proved to be extremely yummy, with a varied selection of sandwiches, two types of scone and fabulous cakes etc. We all had a thoroughly wonderful and memorable afternoon and would not hesitate to recommend or revisit.
