Das Restaurant HATO im Zentrum von Zürich serviert feinste asiatische Küche, bei der alle Sinne angesprochen werden. Auch das Interior präsentiert sich richtig schick. In dem im Herbst 2015 eröffneten Restaurant gibt es einen Fischmarkt, eine Show-Küche und eine Sushi-Station.
Die Speisekarte des HATO offenbart von Miso-Suppe über Königskrabben-Salat mit Avocado oder knusprigen Enten-Salat eine tolle Auswahl an Vorspeisen. Weiter geht es mit Dim Sum, Shushi, Sashimi, Maki Rolls und vielem mehr. Gerichte aus dem Wok können verschiedenen Zutaten gewählt werden, auch vegetarisch. Fleisch und Fisch kommen vom Grill. Das HATO bietet einen Lunch sowie eine Bento-Box. Abends kann à la carte bestellt werden. Diese variiert unter der Woche und am Wochenende.
Die stylishe Location, in der Designer-Lampen über runden Holztischen hängen, hat alles, was ein kulinarischer Hot Spot ausmacht. Inklusive fantasievoller Drinks.
Das HATO Zürich befindet sich in der Brandschenkestrasse 20. Vom Alten Botanischen Garten sind es nur wenige hundert Meter. Bus- und Trambahnstationen sind nicht weit entfernt vom Restaurant.

A stunning dining experience. From the booking, we made several changes and Hato were so accomodating, to the outstanding service. Absolutely stunning food with flavours so clean fresh with a real impact to the senses.
Head chef Nathan has intrioduced a standout new place to be with Allen and his social crew.

Bedienung konnte kein Deutsch, Menükarte sehr spärlich, ist ein Food-Sharing-Konzept, wurde nicht wirklich satt, sehr teuer, Ambiente ist jedoch sehr schön, Essen war gut

We came on the 7th of July 2017 for our daughter's 13th birthday dinner. The food and staff were exceptional! Everything was perfect for the evening. Hato has the best Sushi in Zurich.

We love Hato and celebrated several occasions there. It was always excellent I have to say. But this time we were disappointed. 1. the barman had an injury so cocktails were not an option. I think it is a bit lame for such a high end Restaurant that only ONE person can mix the cocktails. the sushi rolls wich come around 30 CHF and up per roll next. we had a spicy tuna and the hamachi. spicy tuna was good but the hamachi had still the skin on wich I never experienced before. not at Hato and not at other similair places around the world (talking about restaurants like Nobu, Zuma, Novikov - Hato is clearly ispired by them) this was not a big deal but again not really nice for such an high end place, but all this was nothing compared to our main course the Sirloin steak. We wanted it medium rare. It was medium well, it had a funny color like quite light for beef and we also couldn't tell the taste. to us it was VERY chewy and it tasted more like pork wich is just weird. and for 77CHF per 250g this is not acceptable. We love to eat at the best places, we don't mind the money for outstanding quality so it is not about that, like I said we were at
Hato before, several times. so we sent it back and the waiter returned after 2min and said well madame this is medium rare (thank you but I am not stupid and i do not eat my meat medium rare since yesterday) so I said no sorry, if u like try it, I didn't touch the other pieces, let the chef try it. the taste is unfortunately very unpleasant. so we got a new one. this time it was on point, it was medium rare but the meat tasted still quite different and funny, not beeflike. Idk I think this was just not a good meat order at that day but it simply wasn't good at all. and it was one of my fav dishes before (at hato). If you wanna be a high end Restaurant and want ppl to spend that amount of money you simply have to offer the best and also prepared and served in the best way possible. We hope this was simply an unlucky day.
