We had a vegan diner with us and she was really pleased with the choice she was given as were the other diners. We have been a few times now and it has never disappointed.

The Second Floor Bar and Brasserie offers a relaxed yet stylish environment in which to enjoy all-day dining, overlooking the expansive views of Exchange Square. This elevated spot offers views over the city, and a black lacquered bar offers a fashionable selection.

A diverse mix of flavours, the Harvey Nichols menu spans from eclectic ‘little plates’ and wholesome bento boxes, to classic main courses. An array of exciting flavours can be found in the likes of tandoori monkfish with sticky mango rice, or pea and mint cannelloni with smoked feta, whilst hearty classics include a succulent signature HN burger, or Atlantic-caught cod with chunky chips.

Innovative twists for dessert include a salted caramel pot au chocolat with hazelnut shortbread, and Vimto summer pudding with clotted cream. Chic and sultry seasonal cocktails are served at the Second Floor Bar, and delicious offerings for brunch include streaky bacon and maple syrup waffles, and classic eggs benedict.

Set in one of Manchester’s most iconic buildings, Harvey Nichols Brasserie is a 6-minute walk from Manchester Victoria Rail Station.

Food excellent and service also excellent. Could not fault our visit here. We had the three courses plus cocktail for£22 and was worth every penny.

Having mastered your booking system all is well with us. Our Grandson looks forward to visiting HN for lunch and always enjoys his food as we do, Joseph in the main has the Burger from the children's Menu and we swap and change as the mood takes us. Having now the opportunity to comment, I would welcome Classical Music rather than that which is currently played, also l feel this type of music is more fitting for HN Restaurants rather than POP!

Food was excellent on the whole. Medium Steak requested but was slightly more well done. There were a few large parties so the food took a while.

Both food and service were very good. However, as a vegiterian all options were reliant on cheese/ dairy.

Good food, lovely service. Great value kids menu. But the restaurant smells! My daughters noticed it too- I thought I was maybe being over-sensitive. It stinks of something strong and fishy, but it's not exactly a food smell. Is it maybe the plastic of the tables reacting to the sunlight? It was pretty unpleasant, and could be easily overcome, I'm sure. Sorry! Otherwise such a lovely experience.
