A lovely meal & really enjoyed the mojito raspberry cocktail. Enjoyed itso much have booked for Saturday evening with my husband. Just one criticism : why when there are plenty of vacant tables do restaurants bring another party to sit close by ? There were 2 of us dining & we ended up with a noisy family of 4 next to us - if we had not started our meal I would have asked for another table.

We arrived early and decided to have a cocktail or two before eating. The cocktail bar used to be beside/attached to the restaurant but this has been replaced to an area that is half bar half cafe. Instead of relaxing having a quiet drink it is now not so much of a pleasure as diners either side are snacking and the atmosphere is now more cafe culture and less exclusive. Harvey Nicks have moved the nice bar away to a separate floor area near the lifts but on Valentines night, this was closed for a private function. The restaurant itself was busy but vibrant. No complaints about the staff at all, attentive but not intrusive. The choice of food was very good and absolutely nothing but praise for the food itself. I had the steak and told the waiter it was the best I had ever had. A true fact. Well worth a visit.

The food is always fantastic here, beautifully cooked and presented. The almond mash was a revelation!
