Each course of the set menu was beautifully presented, cooked and served. The chicken was so tender and we ate everything on the plate.

I really enjoy the food at Harvey Nichols and on the whole I'm usually left satisfied that the food was great and the staff were attentive. However, my experience on Saturday was that the food was good, but the staff were less attentive. I don't know if that was because you were short staffed on that day but I didn't experience the usual welcoming feeling. I don't usually book on Saturday or Friday so this may be the norm. I also found the live music a bit annoying as it was too loud to have a conversation. I found myself wishing they were going to have a break soon so I didn't have to shout. I prefer the quieter background music.

Live music was an unexpected bonus

The meal was amazing. The staff were welcoming, efficient and friendly! Thank you very much The only thing which could have spoilt it had we been nearer was the live music as it was loud

Very good except the waiters were very keen to clear our plates as soon as we had finished, my husband was still eating his dessert when they cleared my plate!! We ordered coffee & it came before the pudding!

We ordered lamb from the menu and were asked how we would like it cooked - the only two options were pink or well done - we were not offered a medium option despite questioning the waiter. We chose ‘well done’ but it came tough and over cooked close to being charcoaled. It wasn’t possible to eat it. We didn’t complain as we were celebrating and the restaurant was full. The poor quality of food spoilt our pre-theatre experience.
