A lovely meal of nibbles and main course was spoilt by two very average desserts. Part of the honeycomb on my dessert was so hard it was inedible. When I fed this back to chef I was told it was supposed to be like that. What, inedible? And what happened to 'the customer is always right'? My husband's steamed cinnamon pudding had a tablespoon of creme anglaise inside it which was not enough and made the dessert dry. I'd say the pastry section is letting the rest of the kitchen down.

I had some fish with mashed potato and it was just amazing! It was part of the winter market menu. Mario, our waiter, was very helpful and went above and beyond to make our dinner a pleasant experience.

Food was amazing - staff very helpful one of the party has an allergy to prawns, and therefore went through menu with her to make sure what she picked was safe to eat !!

Had the winter menu which is very good value and included a cocktail. Very disappointed that none of the desserts were gluten free as I am coeliac. I had to have ice cream and look longingly at my friends Bakewell tart!
