We had an amazing time. Rooftop area for cocktails was relaxing and the staff couldn’t do enough to make our visit memorable especially since one of our party had the beginnings of a migraine and couldn’t enjoy the delicious food. They were so attentive, even not charging for her meal which was extremely understanding. We will definitely be returning.

Always a pleasure to dine at 5th Floor Harvey Nichols, Knightsbridge. The staff are professional and friendly and the service is excellent. We usually dine at lunchtime but on this occasion we chose Easter chocolate Afternoon Tea with a bottle of Prosecco as it was my birthday. Overall a fantastic experience with delicious selection of sandwiches and cakes, plus a warmed quiche which was a lovely extra. In addition, the staff provided me with a specially decorated birthday dessert plate with a candle and they all sang “happy birthday”. Thank you for a wonderful time.

We were seated under a sort of gazebo slightly raised so had a very good view of cafe area. tHE FOOD WAS SUPERB AS WAS THE SERVICE,rENATE,bRAzilian,WHO CHECKED THAT EACH COURSE WAS TO OUR LIKING. He also made no query when we wanted to split the bill three ways. Whenever we asked a question about the food,he either knew the answer or found it very quickly. We were not rushed even though we had been told the table woul dbe needed again by 9.30 p.m.(very close to last orders I thought!) There were only 2 included cocktails to choose from and one contained grapefruit juice which none of us could have because of our various medications. However, the one we could use was wonderful- we would have liked to keep a menu to check on the various ingredients and flavours. One lady had one small compliant-the sticky toffee pudding was NOT sticky but dry. Renate promised to tell the chef.

Mushroom soup lovely but another customer got a much bigger slice of sourdough bread, enough for 2 people, than me. Sweetcorn on main dish got rubbery from steam coming from lump of lamb.

The ambience and welcome at the Fifth Floor Cafe were wonderful, with very attentive and polite staff. However the food was a huge disappointment, I had rabbit to start, which had bones in that luckily I didn't break my teeth on. The main course we chose was lamb, the lamb itself was well cooked and good quality, however we felt cheated by its accompaniments which were inedible. We could only describe this as pasta with frozen (school dinner style) vegetables and gravy. Realising that we had barely touched our main courses, the waiting on staff were gracious and gave a 20% discount, however considering the quality of the food, we still feel like we paid a lot. In addition, the wine list was disappointing and overpriced, many of the names were recognisable from the local co-op, though being sold at 6X the price. In all, we left disappointed customers and will not be returning!

The set menu is excellent value. We chose the salmon starter - and the lamb main course- both delicious, we each chose a different cocktail which were interesting .The service was impeccable.

There was not much space for a pram. It was very crammed and did not like the atmosphere. Took some time for the food to come out (we ordered vegan afternoon tea), but it tasted good.
