The food was lovely as always. However, I found the waiter rather patronising calling my friend and I girls when I was probably old enough to be his mother! The service was definitely as good as it has been before. The staff seemed rather disengaged and disinterested to be honest, which is a shame as the food was lovely and the service took away from this rather than enhancing the experience. Generally when I have booked for my shared birthday meal with my friend we have been given petit fours and a message in chocolate wishing us happy birthday. Nothing this time and we ate from the a la carte menu. It felt like they could not wait for us to leave. I will go again, but will not have very high expectations.

We were in a hurry to get to the cinema and so the 2 course menu was perfect. The staff were friendly and if we had had more time we would have loved to take more time over our meal. Loved the amuse bouche
