Restaurant description

A grand pub that blends rustic rural style with colourful contemporary tweaks, Harvester Stanney Oaks is moments from the Coliseum Retail Park. The extensive menu of reasonably priced home-style favourites makes it hugely popular with families, with kids being offered free activities to help keep them entertained.

From its succulent grill selection to the celebrated unlimited salad bar, the Harvester menu is packed full of wholesome flavours for the whole family. Rotisserie chicken cooked in a secret blend of spices is available alongside tender smoked ribs marinated in signature BBQ sauce, while smaller tapas-style dishes are perfect for sharing, with options like spicy crackerjack prawns, and smoked pork and cheddar and jalapeno sausage. There are generous combo platters, juicy steaks, well-stacked burgers, and a great salad selection with premium additions.

All kinds of sweet treats are served on the dessert menu at this Harvester in Chester. The Sundae selection loads real dairy ice cream with toppings like warm chocolate fudge brownie, Oreo® biscuit crumb, raspberries and marshmallows, while classic options like Cherry Pie accompany fantastic vegan options like our tangy blackcurrant mousse on a light biscuit base. From the bar, there are world beers, spirits, and speciality soft drinks for the kids.

Offering a relaxing, comfy setting for visitors to the nearby shopping centre, Harvester Stanney Oaks is 9 minutes' drive from Stanlow & Thornton Rail Station.

Poor slow service, took forever to get a drink when ordered with the waiter and food took over a hour and was cold once arrived and had to be microwaved. Salad bar was not as good as other Harvester and had run out of 25% of the items, sauces were the only good thing about our experience

Waitress was lovely, nothing was a problem, had problems when meals came out, I ordered no peas and got them, my mum and dad ordered peas and didn't get them, mum ordered chips but garlic mash came, WiFi wasn't working so couldn't access my email to show free drink and had also been sent a £5 off voucher to show, guy on next table had been there for three hours and still got no WiFi! Salad bar was nice and full but there were no bread rolls due to them being in the oven cooking. Meal was nice and hot and will eat there again.
