Overlooking the marina, Harvester Port Solent is perfect for those who love waterside dining. There is al fresco seating to look out at the yachts, and the menu is packed with a great selection of crowd-pleasing recipes.

From its succulent grill selection to the celebrated unlimited salad bar, the Harvester menu is packed full of wholesome flavours for the whole family. Rotisserie chicken cooked in a secret blend of spices is available alongside tender smoked ribs marinated in signature BBQ sauce, while smaller tapas-style dishes are perfect for sharing, with options like spicy crackerjack prawns, and grilled chorizo with padron peppers. There are generous combo platters, juicy steaks, well-stacked burgers, and a great salad selection with premium additions.

All kinds of sweet treats are served on the dessert menu at this Harvester in Portsmouth. The sundae selection loads real dairy ice cream with toppings like warm chocolate fudge brownie, raspberries and honeycomb pieces, while classic British options like Bramley apple pie sit alongside international twists like key lime pie. From the bar, there are world beers, spirits, and speciality soft drinks for the kids.

Boasting a stunning location and with a menu that offers something for the whole family, Harvester Port Solent is 11 minutes' drive from Cosham Rail Station.

The quality of the food or perhaps the chefs have changed since we enjoyed a good meal last Boxing day. We have been twice since, and the steak has either not been cooked with care or it is not of a reasonable quality. The waiting staff however are very attentive and kibd.

A lovely meal for everyone, with the gammon steak and fillet steak being particularly good (although the fillet was over cooked, asked for medium but their was no pink centre), and a starter of halumi was also overcooked and had to be replaced. Also the wine we chose was unavailable.

The staff were friendly and made sure the children with us were catered for. There was a magician who the children really got on well with. The food was good and served in a reasonable time. Salad bar was well stocked and good

Could not fault service or food. My son has special needs and can get agitated in crowds but a suitable table was found for us and he felt very comfortable. Vi Vi was a lovely waitress and really looked after us. This was our first visit but will certainly return.

Prompt friendly service, but disappointed at the lack of variety in the salad choices. Menu choices could be more consistent with other harvesters in the area...not the same menu as one I visited only a few weeks before. Overall food was ok.

    Excellent service despite being busy.
Range of beers limited (except lagers). Meal offers could have been displayed more prominently.
