A charming British pub and restaurant that's moments from the banks of the River Mersey, Harvester Otters Pool offers something for people of all ages. Children get their own menus and free activity packs, and there is outdoor seating out on the lawn to enjoy a drink from the fully stocked bar.

From its succulent grill selection to the celebrated unlimited salad bar, the Harvester menu is packed full of wholesome flavours for the whole family. Rotisserie chicken cooked in a secret blend of spices is available alongside tender smoked ribs marinated in signature BBQ sauce, while smaller tapas-style dishes are perfect for sharing, with options like spicy crackerjack prawns, and grilled chorizo with padron peppers. There are generous combo platters, juicy steaks, well-stacked burgers, and a great salad selection with premium additions.

All kinds of sweet treats are served on the dessert menu at this Harvester in Liverpool. The sundae selection loads real dairy ice cream with toppings like warm chocolate fudge brownie, raspberries and honeycomb pieces, while classic British options like Bramley apple pie sit alongside international twists like key lime pie. From the bar, there are world beers, spirits, and speciality soft drinks for the kids.

Capturing the cosy feel of a traditional British pub and adding in fun contemporary touches, Harvester Otters Pool is a 13-minute walk from Aigburth Rail Station.

Disgusting. Waited over 10 mins at door for somebody to show us to our table. Arrived 5.55pm meal arrived 1hour 20 mins later. At start told over 3 things off menu. 1 Fish dried out , 4 gammon dry and grisly. 1 steak more like shoe leather. No pineapple on gammon .2 of the 4 gammon and eggs , eggs snotty. Hole meal was disgusting. that was no chief in kitchen, if it was he should be dismissed on the spot . Give the manager his due, we where not asked to pay for food, only drinks. It used to be very busy but last night a lot of tables empty.

Food was ok when it came but the service was atrocious . It was mothers day and there was 1 girl waiting on. She apparently went home half way through so then u had to go to the bar to ask for desserts drinks etc. The bar man apologised but this is meant to be a restaurant and it shold be staffed.
There was no draft beer !!!! You had to order bottled. The salad bar was not fully stocked and when I asked the man passing his answer was " you will have to wait I'm on the front desk"
    Overall a very poor experience.

We booked a table for nine people and we were told that there was a half hour wait which we thought was fine. We ordered starters which came out about 40 minutes later which was fine as we expected that. We then had to wait at least another 45 minutes before the main course arrived. I ordered scampi and chips which was cold and very unappetising, but as we had waited so long I couldn't be bothered to send it back. The salad bar was also very depleted and hadn't been filled back up so the remains were very unappealing. On the whole a very disappointing experience and one I won't repeat.

Well. I probably should have taken more notice of the poor reviews.

We were a party of 7, being 6 adults and one child. Service to take our orders was very slow, As in, snail's pace slow. After we finally had our order in, again, it was extremely slow to get our food.

Then the food arrived. Where as my meal was a fair portion size, several members of our party had extremely small portions. On the large plate, the small portions were obvious.

The one child in our party probably had more food on his plate than some of the adults.

Then, waiting for the bill. We asked 3 times. Took forever to even pay them.

We went there because of the location, which was great.

    Don't go for the food.
