With a colourful indoor children's play area, as well as special menus for the little ones, Harvester Muddle Go Nowhere is an ideal pub restaurant for families. A great selection of home-style recipes are on offer, while the interior is a welcoming blend of traditional comfort with contemporary tweaks, offering plenty of space for larger groups.
From its succulent grill selection to the celebrated unlimited salad bar, the Harvester menu is packed full of wholesome flavours for the whole family. Rotisserie chicken cooked in a secret blend of spices is available alongside tender smoked ribs marinated in signature BBQ sauce, while smaller tapas-style dishes are perfect for sharing, with options like spicy crackerjack prawns, and grilled chorizo with padron peppers. There are generous combo platters, juicy steaks, well-stacked burgers, and a great salad selection with premium additions.
All kinds of sweet treats are served on the dessert menu at this Harvester in Grantham. The sundae selection loads real dairy ice cream with toppings like warm chocolate fudge brownie, raspberries and honeycomb pieces, while classic British options like Bramley apple pie sit alongside international twists like key lime pie. From the bar, there are world beers, spirits, and speciality soft drinks for the kids.
An ideal spot for families to unwind where the kids will be kept entertained, Harvester Muddle Go Nowhere is 5 minutes' drive from Grantham Rail Station.

The restaurant was pretty busy with seemingly only two women working really very hard. They did everything, and still smiled. The drinks were the usual Harvester range all perfectly ok. The fare was however a much shortened menu, a lot of the better dishes gone. What we ate was plenty and well cooked. Only a few bread pieces available. Salad lacking the better mixes ie beans mixes, cous cous salad, green bean/ peas mix, pasta salad. What was there was tired and low quantity. Lots of tasteless black olives, two lots of Red cabbage one plain from a jar and a mix of carrot with red cabbage. Mostly items from jars I felt. A pity I'm usually much more impressed by Harvester salad bar. This newer Harvester lacked the ambience of the Harvester rooms feel. It was noisier, and not so comfortable, very cold draughts from ceiling.

Enjoyed everything. Range somewhat narrow and expensive.

We were a party of six. We pre booked a table for march 5th. Online booking was the easy part. When we arrived we were shown to our table by a waitress. So far so good. It just went downhill from there unfortunately. DRINKS - the two men in the party both wanted Black Sheep - OFF. 2nd choice Doom Bar - OFF. 3rd choice red house wine £10 - not good. 4th choice £16 red wine SUCCESS! FOOD - main courses wonderful. SWEETS - apple & something else crumble - OFF. Rice pudding -OFF. By this time I was ever so slightly miffed. The waitress was very apologetic . It wasn't her fault & she handled the situation well. We were in the end given a reduction of approx £10. This was appreciated but it has made me apprehensive about returning or recommending the restaurant .

Overall very disappointed with our visit yesterday. Poor service despite the restaurant being quiet. Not all menu choices were available. Child's meal came out ten minutes after the adult mains. After being told it was still in the freezer. Not a happy child.
Long wait to order and get served.
Salad bar poorly stocked. No lettuce.

Service was terrible, after waiting an hour for food we were told the order hadn't gone through to the kitchen. When food arrived it was average and not worth the wait. Veggie jambalaya was greasy and corn fritters tasted of fish!

Shame that at an early Sunday lunch time, didn't have our first choice of main meal(steak) for 2 of our party and then didn't have first choice of dessert ( honeycomb explosion) for one of our party, nor any pats of butter but waiter did obtain a ramekin of butter from kitchen. Friendly staff and good hot food. Lovely setting and plenty of car parking. Super quick service, maybe a bit too quick for a Sunday lunch.
