Taken to our table ordered drinks, they arrived tried to order main courses was told no steak available, no pepsi max in drinks machine and when we went to order deserts was told no ice cream either. Also one of our guests was delivered the wrong meal. All in all not an enjoyable experience.

We went Sunday lunchtime to meet up with an old friend, early at 12.30 so plenty of parking spaces. Our table was ready and our waitress was excellent, attentive but not obtrusive. There were tables nearby, set up for parties and so I was worried it would be noisy but they arrived much later and were not too loud so we could chat and catch up. It was my first visit at a Harvester for some years and I was a bit rusty with the routine of the salad bar and unlimited soft drink but soon worked it out. The food arrived quickly, 8oz rump steak and garlic prawns and was well presented and I thought good value. I also had sticky toffee pudding and icecream which was very good and only £4.69.My only criticism was that the decor was a little tired. Plentiful staff were friendly and the restaurant was running smoothly.

Very busy night so the service was a little longer than normal but we were in no hurry as it was New Year's Eve

The salad bar is very good but we were half way through the salad when our starter came. Very good brie wedges. Half way through the starter the main course came. My husband doesnt eat very fast and wanted to finish his starter before eating his main. So he said his main wasn't very hot. If you ordered the main when we had finished the starter the meal would have been more enjoyable. I didn't say anything at the time as he didn't want to make a fuss

Yes food nice and service quick only complaint would be the toaster needs to toast bread put ours thru twice and still barely toasted. So bring tea and coffee to the table rather than having to get up as my breakfast was not the buffet

Very nice evening, good table location fast service and polite staff. Looking forward to a return visit. Lack of choice of drinks for young children as no apple juice, so had to plump for cordial as we didn't want fizzy drinks. An option for a smaller ice cream dessert for children would be helpful as the serving is large and with a cone and flake provided as well as a large bowl, most of it goes to waste.
