Venue good, ate here on a Groupon deal, main courses and a drink for 2, with salads for £20. Salad very good, sirloin steak tasty but cold, my ribs small, overcooked and dry (took some home for our dog). Would not have paid full price for this meal, if I had it would have been sent back! Just average, nothing special. House wine was fine.

Every thing was ok . table ready when we arrived, service was good ,the only downside was they had run out of fish and at 6.00pm it was a bit early to be running out things. On the whole a nice evening.

Placed our order with just the one starter and 5 mains, the waiter forgot to order, half an hour later when asked where our food was, panick ensued and they realised they had not placed the order, people who arrived after us were being served.
Not happy with the service, will think twice about going again, would not recommend.

Free salad was great, although the food was quite bland, my Chicken was sent back as it wasn't cooked properly. Service was great, very helpful and refunded my meal.

Taken to our table ordered drinks, they arrived tried to order main courses was told no steak available, no pepsi max in drinks machine and when we went to order deserts was told no ice cream either. Also one of our guests was delivered the wrong meal. All in all not an enjoyable experience.

We went Sunday lunchtime to meet up with an old friend, early at 12.30 so plenty of parking spaces. Our table was ready and our waitress was excellent, attentive but not obtrusive. There were tables nearby, set up for parties and so I was worried it would be noisy but they arrived much later and were not too loud so we could chat and catch up. It was my first visit at a Harvester for some years and I was a bit rusty with the routine of the salad bar and unlimited soft drink but soon worked it out. The food arrived quickly, 8oz rump steak and garlic prawns and was well presented and I thought good value. I also had sticky toffee pudding and icecream which was very good and only £4.69.My only criticism was that the decor was a little tired. Plentiful staff were friendly and the restaurant was running smoothly.
