Right next to the River Exe in the city centre, Harvester Malthouse offers traditional British recipes alongside inventive international twists. The interior has a cosy rural style to it, with plenty of space for large groups, and free activity packs for children.
From its succulent grill selection to the celebrated unlimited salad bar, the Harvester menu is packed full of wholesome flavours for the whole family. Rotisserie chicken cooked in a secret blend of spices is available alongside tender smoked ribs marinated in signature BBQ sauce, while smaller tapas-style dishes are perfect for sharing, with options like spicy crackerjack prawns, and grilled chorizo with padron peppers. There are generous combo platters, juicy steaks, well-stacked burgers, and a great salad selection with premium additions.
All kinds of sweet treats are served on the dessert menu at this Harvester in Exeter. The sundae selection loads real dairy ice cream with toppings like warm chocolate fudge brownie, raspberries and honeycomb pieces, while classic British options like Bramley apple pie sit alongside international twists like key lime pie. From the bar, there are world beers, spirits, and speciality soft drinks for the kids.
Moments from the riverside, Harvester Malthouse offers diners a relaxed setting for wholesome recipes. Exeter St Thomas Rail Station is only 6 minutes' walk away.

Cosy, seated where we've asked, steak is a dish I always order and I must say the fat was slightly too much on my steak. But everything else spot on, quick service, lovely staff, very helpful.
