The staff were very helpful and even though it was very busy they went out of their way to be helpful. The food was good and did not have to wait to long

When arrived for our meal and although he knew we were standing in front of the man on reception he didnt seem to be in any hurry to acknowledge us. When he did it wasnt welcoming. We were shown a table right by the entrance. As there were only 2 of us we would have been happier to be a little further away from the families with small children. We started to order we were told there was no draught beer due to a fault. We were told that the pumps may be repaired before our next order so we reluctantly ordered our foodas well as a bottle of budweiser and bulmers cider instead. We were then told that the although the problem was fixed it would be an hour and a half before the pumps could be operational. We decided to leave without ordering another drink and asked for the bill. We then discovered our 2 drinks came to nearly £8, a lot more than 2 pints of draught beer. The food wasnt special in any way so all in all our experience was dreadful.

I went here for lunch, our favorite feature is the salad cart. Staff were busy and appoligised when we were kept waiting which was totally understandable when they were rushed off their feet. Staff were very accommodating when we didn't want a big dessert only wanted some icecream, they offered a child's sunday to fulfil this request.

It was busy and they seemed a bit understaffed when me and my partner visited. However our waitress was excellent, very polite, happy and helpful despite being rushed off her feet. The food was good as always and we will be back.

The overly stressed waiter was impatient with the children who were confused about the overly complicated children's menu. The carpet was filthy and covered in crumbs even at 12:45 in the afternoon - clearly had 't been cleaned from the night before. The food was ok, but nothing to write home about. An altogether underwhelming experience.

The waitress was brilliant and took our needs into consideration, was very clean and it made us feel the night was just about us.
The food was excellent and the chef is very understanding.
All the staff were very polite.

Service was great and three out of four meals were good. However my rump steak was terrible, gristly and inedible. Was offered a replacement but had gone off the idea by then. The meal was removed from the bill
