A haven for traditional home-style recipes and offering quaint, cosy rural comfort inside, Harvester Garston is an ideal pub for families and large groups. Portions are generous and reasonably priced, with a great selection of crowd-pleasing dishes on offer.
From its succulent grill selection to the celebrated unlimited salad bar, the Harvester menu is packed full of wholesome flavours for the whole family. Rotisserie chicken cooked in a secret blend of spices is available alongside tender smoked ribs marinated in signature BBQ sauce, while smaller tapas-style dishes are perfect for sharing, with options like spicy crackerjack prawns, and grilled chorizo with padron peppers. There are generous combo platters, juicy steaks, well-stacked burgers, and a great salad selection with premium additions.
All kinds of sweet treats are served on the dessert menu at this Harvester in Watford. The sundae selection loads real dairy ice cream with toppings like warm chocolate fudge brownie, raspberries and honeycomb pieces, while classic British options like Bramley apple pie sit alongside international twists like key lime pie. From the bar, there are world beers, spirits, and speciality soft drinks for the kids.
With a great menu selection and inviting ambience all through the day, Harvester Garston is a 4-minute drive from Garston Rail Station.

It was a very pleasant evening out with my friends for Christmas dinner. The service wS amazing . We moved to the bar area as they needed the table but were very nice in asking us to move . We spent 5hiurs eating , drinking and chatting so as you can see it wS wonderful. Your restaurant had gone down hill as they say but my last 3 visits over six weeks have restored my fait in Watford branch .

Food was lovely, but the service very slow, table at 12.30, main and desert for 9 plus 2 children, had to ask for desert menu as not offered, then desert took at least 40 mins to arrive, my daughter and grandson had to leave without desert. Had to go to till to pay bill at 15.30, 3 hours too long !!

We waited a long time to be seated and the service was very slow. They ran out of glasses for the refillable drinks so everyone was having to wait for them to be washed up! Ridiculous!
