Restaurant description

A charming family-friendly pub and restaurant, Harvester Galleria specialises in juicy grill recipes and tapas-style sharing plates. Only the freshest ingredients are used, and from the bar there are cask ales and international beers on tap, as well as a comprehensive wine list.

From its succulent grill selection to the celebrated unlimited salad bar, the Harvester menu is packed full of wholesome flavours for the whole family. Rotisserie chicken cooked in a secret blend of spices is available alongside tender smoked ribs marinated in signature BBQ sauce, while smaller tapas-style dishes are perfect for sharing, with options like spicy crackerjack prawns, and smoked pork and cheddar and jalapeno sausage. There are generous combo platters, juicy steaks, well-stacked burgers, and a great salad selection with premium additions.

All kinds of sweet treats are served on the dessert menu at this Harvester in the West Midlands. The Sundae selection loads real dairy ice cream with toppings like warm chocolate fudge brownie, Oreo® biscuit crumb, raspberries and marshmallows, while classic options like Cherry Pie accompany fantastic vegan options like our tangy blackcurrant mousse on a light biscuit base. From the bar, there are world beers, spirits, and speciality soft drinks for the kids.

A firm favourite in the local area, Harvester Galleria is a 7-minute drive from Hatfield Rail Station.

Staff were very friendly but the food wasn’t very hot or really not that tasty.. Also a very bad smell in there when asked what it was staff told us it was the ice machine but a couple of our guests used the ladies toilet and they were blocked...

Although the food was really nice when we eventually got it but i have to admit even though the restaurant was not busy we still had to ask to be served. The guy serving us was very polite and listened to all our needs.

On arrival a man greeted us (no introduction or smile), no name badge, led us to our seats. (Manager?). We ordered no problem. Starters were good. One main course (pasta) was covered in pepper (unexpected, not nice), salad bar was half empty, ran out of rolls. The two main burgers were dry and tasteless. The drinks refill machine was being fixed so we couldn't refill halfway through our main meal. Kids fruit salad pudding was all pineapple no grapes ( this was resolved in store). The waiter was really over-worked, seemed to be on his own, very apologetic. He was the shining star in this whole experience. We were seated at 2pm and our main course arrived at 3pm. On our booking I had stated that we were with two small children and an old lady. They found this wait difficult. I ordered a cappuccino after the meal but had to ask for it again after 15 minutes. The restaurant wasn't particularly clean either. We were visiting your restaurant as we were meeting our daughter who is studying nearby. We were very disappointed with the experience and would not recommend your restaurant. In fact, there are a number of restaurants in the same part of the Galleria so will choose one of those next time we visit the area.

We were greeted and my booking was acknowledged. Our table for 6 was ready and the rest of the service was excellent.
