Restaurant description

A charming family-friendly pub and restaurant, Harvester Foxhunt specialises in juicy grill recipes and tapas-style sharing plates. Only the freshest ingredients are used, and from the bar there are cask ales and international beers on tap, as well as a comprehensive wine list.

From its succulent grill selection to the celebrated unlimited salad bar, the Harvester menu is packed full of wholesome flavours for the whole family. Rotisserie chicken cooked in a secret blend of spices is available alongside tender smoked ribs marinated in signature BBQ sauce, while smaller tapas-style dishes are perfect for sharing, with options like spicy crackerjack prawns, and smoked pork and cheddar and jalapeno sausage. There are generous combo platters, juicy steaks, well-stacked burgers, and a great salad selection with premium additions.

All kinds of sweet treats are served on the dessert menu at this Harvester in the West Midlands. The Sundae selection loads real dairy ice cream with toppings like warm chocolate fudge brownie, Oreo® biscuit crumb, raspberries and marshmallows, while classic options like Cherry Pie accompany fantastic vegan options like our tangy blackcurrant mousse on a light biscuit base. From the bar, there are world beers, spirits, and speciality soft drinks for the kids.

A firm favourite in the local area, Harvester Foxhunt on Hagley Road is an 8-minute drive from Stourbridge Junction Rail Station.

We went to the Foxhunt because we could walk there and have a drink or two on Christmas eve. We were nicely welcomed and shown to our table. We meet friends at this pub/restaurant regularly because the menu contains something for everyone. As usual our food was nicely cooked and presented and I was able to enjoy a couple of Craft Beers. My wife had a half portion as a large meal would over-face her . We really like the possibility to have a salad plate to begin with (and it eases our dietary conscience) The staff were pleasant and helpful so what more could we ask for when we occasionally eat out ?

Absolutely appalling service. Table wasn't ready when we arrived. Had to wait half an hour before being seated. Ordered a steak dinner and a scampi dinner but neither were available (unbelievable for a Friday evening). Had to have fish and chips which took ages to arrive and were just about edible. Never experienced anything like it. Certainly will not be returning and would definitely not recommend.
