Requested a table in a quiet place and our waitress Alexa happily obliged. Food good and a very pleasant meal. Salad cart a good feature as always. Alexa was charming - friendly and attentive - and greatly enhanced our overall experience. My wife and I always look forward to our meals at Elms.

For the price we paid the food which was served was not upto standard. We were sat under a air conditioning unit in hindsight we should have asked to move. The food we ordered was not particularly hot when it arrived at the table but being under the aircon unit the food went cold very quickly hence why myself and daughter didn't finish our meals. When the waitress collected our plates she didn't ask if everything ok. When arriving at the elms we headed towards the checkin desk there were four members talking laughing. They finished their conversation before asking us if we had booked.

Meal was lovely, but service was very slow. They were very busy and the waitress explained there was a big table in before us which was fine, as food was lovely when it did come. Something that was really annoying was that our table was never fully cleared, the waitress took 2 plates and returned to the table several times and never cleared the others, even once stacked on edge of the table. All tables around us were the same, and all staff seemed to go walk past the tables, ignore and return to the kitchen empty handed! Annoying to watch!

Overall the food was excellent but none of my party could eat the broccoli. It was inedible. Our waitress, Rona, was wonderful.

We were lookinf forward to another great meal but alas this did not happen.1 medium to well done steak was cremated, 1 rare steak was medium, other 3 meals not bad but nothing to write home about. Chips on all five meals were vertually inedible being what we thought reheated. I cannot fault the service it was very good.

we order the combo in which the chips was all burnt and they came with green seasoning on which unless you ask for it should not be on so I asked them to redo the chips. They came back over cooked again. we asked for chicken breast and got leg meat so we again asked them to change and got a very small chicken part breast. very unhappy.

Apart from no one being around to greet us on our arrival, we had a most enjoyable evening. The venue was warm and had character and the food was tasty and served correctly (everyone at the same time). The icing on the cake was our waitress had excellent knowledge about the building’s history and had time to chat to us (it was quite late in the evening). We have booked to return to the Elms rather than visit our local venue which is the Harvester in Warwick.

Having been regular users of Harvesters for many years, this visit was disappointing . The quality of the food was poor. Presentation also very poor.

This is a lovely restaurant the food is good even better when you have a discount voucher. There are separate areas for couples & families. They do have specials too which make for better value, I would recommend eating here although I had lunch so I can’t say what the atmosphere is like at busier times.
