With a cosy rural feel inside, and popular touches like covered al fresco seating for the warmer weather, Harvester Didcot is a versatile family-friendly pub and restaurant. Wholesome British flavours pack the menu, with vegetarian and kids' options on offer, as well as a full bar menu of cask ales, world beers and wines.

From its succulent grill selection to the celebrated unlimited salad bar, the Harvester menu is packed full of wholesome flavours for the whole family. Rotisserie chicken cooked in a secret blend of spices is available alongside tender smoked ribs marinated in signature BBQ sauce, while smaller tapas-style dishes are perfect for sharing, with options like spicy crackerjack prawns, and grilled chorizo with padron peppers. There are generous combo platters, juicy steaks, well-stacked burgers, and a great salad selection with premium additions.

All kinds of sweet treats are served on the dessert menu at this Harvester in Abingdon. The sundae selection loads real dairy ice cream with toppings like warm chocolate fudge brownie, raspberries and honeycomb pieces, while classic British options like Bramley apple pie sit alongside international twists like key lime pie. From the bar, there are world beers, spirits, and speciality soft drinks for the kids.

With its outdoor seating being a hugely popular summer spot, Harvester Didcot is a 9-minute drive from Didcot Parkway Rail Station.

I found it easy to book online and our table was available as soon as we arrived. The waitress was most attentive and we liked the choice of food. The salad bar is one of the main features and a lovely variety of sauces plus rolls and butter. We weren't rushed and were there for 2 hours. As my husband is in a wheelchair we had to use the disabled toilet. My husband pulled the emergency cord by mistake and a member of staff came almost immediately.

Good experience, delivery of food was a little slow but they were very busy so no real problem, server was very good , food was very good.

Good food, good decor and friendly, helpful staff. Should make a five star choice in its class, but it loses two stars because it is much too noisy. Almost impossible to talk without shouting. Some sound proofing voiles between dining areas would help enormously.

We love this Harvester in general and especially how friendly they are when it comes to allergies such as our sons' lactose intolerance. Sadly on this visit, my wife ordered the battered cod and it was delivered undercooked with totally bland soft batter. This was resolved and removed from our bill but very disappointing from an otherwise lovely family restaurant.

The pudding was too big, should be a smaller option. Food good. Staff friendly and place clean.

The staff was friendly. Didnt appreciate getting the mains before the starter were cleared . The food was just okay the chicken was very dry and the tin peas dont go well under a light to keep the food warm. The food could be a lot better . But overall it wasnt to bad just about reasonable.
