With its signature grill crowd-pleasers, unlimited salad bar and cosy feel throughout, Harvester Borderer is a great example of the traditional British pub given fun, contemporary tweaks. Only the freshest ingredients are used, and children get their own special menus, as well as free activity packs.

From its succulent grill selection to the celebrated unlimited salad bar, the Harvester menu is packed full of wholesome flavours for the whole family. Rotisserie chicken cooked in a secret blend of spices is available alongside tender smoked ribs marinated in signature BBQ sauce, while smaller tapas-style dishes are perfect for sharing, with options like spicy crackerjack prawns, and grilled chorizo with padron peppers. There are generous combo platters, juicy steaks, well-stacked burgers, and a great salad selection with premium additions.

All kinds of sweet treats are served on the dessert menu at this Harvester in Newport. The sundae selection loads real dairy ice cream with toppings like warm chocolate fudge brownie, raspberries and honeycomb pieces, while classic British options like Bramley apple pie sit alongside international twists like key lime pie. From the bar, there are world beers, spirits, and speciality soft drinks for the kids.

Serving up a great selection of home-style treats for the whole family, Harvester Borderer is 7 minutes' drive from Newport Rail Station.

I booked a table for 6 for our wedding anniversary, our table was in a cosy corner of the restaurant which had a surprise bottle of bubbly on the table which was really nice, the waitress was very pleasant, we all had different meal's off the menu, the meals all arrived together so no one was waiting for anyone, we all enjoyed our meal's. There were good choice of salad, sauce's and warm bread roll's off the wagon.
Would definitely book again, looking forward to trying out the new menu coming out this October.

Easy booking. Table ready when we arrived. Good service. Waitresses keep their own tips so bear this in mind if you are going to tip. I always leave at least 10% reflecting the service provided.

I've been here many times and have always had a good experience, this time when we got there they didn't even know we had booked a table soo we waited in the bar for about 20 minutes all together, 10 minutes into the waiting the front of house woman came over saying are you waiting for a table? Even though she knew when she first greeted us at the door, then when we were eventually sat down it then took them another 15 minutes too come and take our order, when the food came the chips were soggy, they also got one order wrong, after this experience I don't think I want too go back there.
