Really love late lunch, not rushed or badgered to hurry up even though it was a busy event day. Food was good, good value too. Restaurant was very hot though... could do with air con’.

Not the best. Salad cart had about 4 options. Where are the sultanas and bacon bits? Kids plates were piping hot and handed over with no warning. When I said ow the guy laughed and said "yeah they're hot" my actual chicken breast was nice but the 3 strips of fried chicken were soggy as was the corn on the cob. Left waiting AGES after main - I had to ask to order desserts and then went to collect them as they were just left on the side. Had to ask twice for book and go up to pay as nobody visited our table since main course. Our waitress was assistant manager. We didn't say anything as she had enough on her plate. Table next to us were sat before us but got our food after us. It had been sat on side for at least 10 min. The guy was a chef and rejected it. They also saw the chefs in the kitchen mucking about hitting each other with the tongs and then serving up food. And the ice cream machine wasn't working lol. I wouldn't visit again

The main course was a little disappointing , the meat in the mixed grill was tough and I couldn’t taste the salmon as the sauce was too hot, but the desserts were delicious , yes I would visit again the service was good and it had a nice atmosphere ,thank you

When we arrived told only had limited menu due to deep fat fryer not working. This has already been reported of comments weeks before so FIX IT PLEASE.
However restaurant very busy we were served uncooked salmon but staff were very good, chef, manager and staff all came and apologised. Donna the waitress was incredible she was very attentive, made our puddings for us as there were staff shortages in the kitchen as well as waiting on many tables. She remained positive and cheerful throughout and she should be given employee of the month and a pay rise to keep her.

so we booked the 'festive 3 course meal' 1 week in advance, we turned up and was told 'we don't offer that on Event days and our fryer is not working so we have a very limited menu' so they were probably caught out by the fryer not working but why not email me to say we don't offer the 'festive meal' on the day you have chosen because then I would have the option of changing to a different restaurant instead of having to except the situation because all the diners were now packed out with pre books !!
Ok so I will have the chargrill Chicken please ? No its not available ? why says me ? because we fry it !!!!!!!!!!

Heavy traffic prevented us from reaching the venue at the pre-booked time, but the staff still managed to accommodate us for a meal, which arrived in time and gave us time to reach our seats for the ELO concert. Food was cooked well & served hot, with friendly waiting staff in attendance throughout the meal.

The welcome was good and the waitress very helpful.
Only downside was my husband found a hair in his food which put him off. The waitress did apologise and took some money off the bill.
