The food took to long to arrive and when it did it was cold, and it was expensive. If we hadnt been rushing to get to the x factor we would have sent all 6 meals back.

Has really gone downhill since my last visit - fish smaller and not cooked with a crispy batter as previous - even the mushy peas were uninspiring. Staff still as nice and very helpful but the ambience has gone from the restaurant.

We have been here many times in its hey day. It's now a sad memory of it's vibrant past. [...]we waited about an hour for our food - it was cold and we all left half of the meal. We were asked if we enjoyed our food - the comment about cold chips was ''I don't know what's up with the kitchen tonight.'' The table next to us also had complaints. It has a take away - why the wait!A special deal for families meant that noise levels and behaviour was less than you would expect of a restuarant. The main advertising board wasn't working, litter was in the car park, bulbs weren't replaced in the internal lights and where did all the Glasgow photographs go?We will never return unless someone with enthusiasm takes over.

I have dined at Harry Ramdens many times over the years in fact it is one of my favourites, I do admit the quality is not always brilliant but it is good, I for one would like the batter to be crispy all the time just as the fish is. The otheritems are well cooked and the staff friendly and helpful. A good one for a good british meal.

Charges now being put on use of car park and if you dont know and dont put in your registration number into a machine in the restaurant you get hefty fines. There is no signage in teh carry out section which also has a sitting section. @ [$] its a very expensive chippy. One I wont be partaking again!!!

Meal and service was perfect. Free car parking is an extra bonus.
