Very pretty tea rooms with a good atmosphere. Gorgeous cakes and pastries. The lavender scones were brilliant with the cream tea. The house blend tea is very good.

Had a lovely traditional afternoon tea here. The staff were very polite and helpful. They kept filling out tea up and milk. Would recommend

Food was lovely presented and very tasty. Staff very polite but felt bit rushed at times but overall very happy.

The restaurant was beautiful, pianist playing was great until we were seated upstairs so couldn’t hear it! The service was a bit slow, although it was busy for Mothering Sunday. Food was excellent, I had the hallumi burger which was delicious, although they forgot our prosecco so we had to ask for it after the meal.

Afternoon tea special. All was perfect, lovely food and very polite staff. Only criticism. was the vegetarian selection of sandwiches only consisted of egg or cheese

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Afternoon tea arrived at table without the smoked salmon sandwiches we ordered, not good. We ordered the Champagne afternoon tea, not impressed!. Expensive for what we got. I won’t be going back. The place was very nicely decorated.

The traditional tea was brought for us as a gift, but yes we did enjoy our visit from being welcomed on the door to the end, the extra tea and coffe refills went down well, the staff all seemed very friendly and nothing seemed to much trouble, maybe if anything the chicken was a little over done and so was a bit dry, but apart from that all was well, and I will be coming again, Thank you,

Value for money is poor. Afternoon tea sandwiches were of very basic quality and only two flavours presented. Pastries were nice but did not make up for the £42 price of the afternoon tea.

Had the Festive Afternoon Tea. Sandwiches were fine, scones heavy, cloying and tasteless. Cakes were not to my taste either, only ate one bite of mince pie which had a very odd flavour. Tea was lovely(decaffeinated), coffee very strong but mulled wine was lovely even if served in a cup rather than a glass. It was a shame that they served the 2 drinks at almost the same time as it was inevitable that one would get cold, which of course it did! We also had to ask for milk as they didn’t serve any. Overall very disappointing, never been to Harriet’s before and unlikely to do so again.. very overpriced for the quality and experience.
