Hard Rock Café Glasgow features all the aspects that made the American restaurant group so famous. Located in the restored Athenaeum Theatre, in the heart of the historic Style Mile, the Buchanan street branch has a history of its own, and serves up modern stateside dishes.

The Hard Rock Café menu stays true to form, with American-style smokehouse specialities such as the hickory-smoked ribs topping the list, along with the local legendary burger, which is unique to each branch. Alcoholic twisted shakes and hot fudge brownies are favourites for pudding.

The walls are decked with musical mementos, which both celebrate history of the theatre, and evoke Hard Rock Café’s signature rock ‘n’ roll vibe.

Also on site is a shop full of merchandise, a late night bar, and an area dedicated to weekly live music. The latest addition to the ever popular restaurant group, the Glasgow Hard Rock Café is a 1-minute walk from Buchanan Street Subway Station, and 2 minutes from Glasgow Queen Street station.

Servant Carl welcomed us really friendly and told us his favorites of the menu. Then he gave us the right amount of time to choose and then came to take our orders. While we were waiting for our meals, he answered all of my questions concerning the rock memorabilia and the restaurant itself. We had some really great onion rings, the famous facita and the smoked BBQ combo of pulled pork and ribs. All of the food was very delicious and tasty!
Carl was a really nice guy in the best moode one could imagine!
The only thing we would possibly change would be Pepsi to Coca Cola, but that is just our personal preference.

We had the nachos starter to share and it was huge, we skipped mains and went straight to pudding which was also large .

Hard Rock Cafe is the best place to eat nachos , the other food and drink is also very nice

Little bit pricey I guess but well worth it :)

    Staff very friendly and welcoming

Service was good - our server Clelia was very attentive.
Starter was Nachos - massive portion & very tasty
Main courses weren't great 2 x New strip steaks that were very full of grissle and very fatty, my girlfriend's chilli chips were so salty they were almost inedible. This is our third trip to Hard Rock Cafe, but I fear it may be our last! Very disappointing!

Waitress was enthusiastic and memorobilia was fun - especially Angus Young full stage gear. Music choice was in no way hard (or even soft) rock and the food was okay although overpriced for what we had. First cocktail totally missing an ingredient which we noticed when we ordered the same again.....was underwhelmed by the experience of dining here and would not return I'm afraid - there are some much more interesting places to dine in the area which looked better value for money.

What an absolute delight it was to eat in the Hard Rock Cafe, Glasgow on Saturday 6th May. My dad and I are very much into music and go to concerts often. We were out on 6th May to celebrate the 50th anniversary of my dad's attendance at his first gig - The Kinks in the Kelvin Hall (1-4-1967). I had special t-shirts made for us both and we had an entire day out in the city attending various music events. We ended our day at the Hard Rock and I had made the staff aware of our 'celebration' when I made the booking. The staff not only went out of their way to fuss over my dad and make note of his day but they also specifically added a Kinks song to the play list in the restaurant and had it played on the video screens as we ate. My dad was super impressed and it just finished his day off perfectly! Thanks so much!

Wasn't a great experience. We arrived and got drinks as our table wasn't ready. The drinks were quite expensive for the quality, I've had better for less money. There was not a lot of choice for food. We went here as some of our party were fussy but it seemed to be variations of the same food. When we arrived the waitress told us they were out of pulled pork and then once someone had ordered she came over and explained they were now out of chicken. Being out of two things isn't a big deal other places but due to lack of choice to begin with this caused issues. The food arrived in a speedy manner as we explained we were running late and needed to be out quickly. The food quality was mediocre. Not value for money considering how much it cost. Our waitress was lovely but just seemed all over the place.
