Afternoon tea with a very dear friend for her birthday. Service great, harp in the back ground was relaxing, drank to much champagne as it went down far to easy with the fantastic selection of sandwiches

Formerly the cobbled driveway to the original station, Hansom Lounge at the St Pancras Renaissance Hotel London offers a selection of light bites and refined afternoon tea. The historic building has retained many original features including a vaulted roof and Barlow Blue girders.

Light bites on the Hansom Lounge menu include fresh sandwiches and salads, as well as hearty burgers with fries. Sharing boards include an artisan cheese board and a Mediterranean selection, whilst baked passion fruit cheesecake and rhubarb soufflé are amongst the indulgent desserts.

Afternoon tea at Hansom Lounge King’s Cross exudes quintessential indulgence. Start with a selection of sandwiches, including roast beef with horseradish cream, Scottish salmon with dill crème fraiche, and cucumber with mint and lemon and curd cheese. On the sweet section of the menu, scones, cream and jam are joined by the likes of raspberry macarons and lemon drizzle cake. As well as a range of teas, the afternoon tea menu is topped off by a choice of cocktails and champagne.

Housed in an iconic building, Hansom Lounge London sits next to Kings Cross and St Pancras Rail Stations.

Brilliant afternoon tea, great range of sandwiches and brioche rolls and the cakes were good too. Loved the Chapel Down as an alternative to Champagne. Our waitress was amazing, we had a few people in our party with varying dietary requirements, which she took in her stride. The kitchen were exceptionally flexible and everyone felt that they had a great selection. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely surroundings. The afternoon tea was good value for a weekday. Staff knowledgeable. Very filling!

Overall we were very satisfied with the service and the selection of sandwiches.

Just a minor recommendation, we'd prefered if the cakes and scones were given to us at the start rather than later.

We had a lovely time. The food and service was excellent.
Location was a bit disappointing I felt we were sitting in the reception area.

the surroundings were very impressive without making you feel uncomfortable the food was excellent and the service was impeccable .even though you were in the main thoroughfare for the hotel you weren't aware of it because of the seating arrangements .a wonderful time was had by all

The surroundings, sandwiches, cakes and tea were delicious. However, the service really let our experience down. It was extremely slow, and we were often waiting up to 15 mins just to get our waitresses attention - she seemed to disappear for long periods of time.

    Lovely food service and location
The tea is good value for money However the champagne at £15 per half glass is somewhat over the top and misleading as says £5 in the menu.
