An escape from the lively hustle and bustle of Soho, Ham Yard Bar & Restaurant offers modern British cuisine. Enjoy classic flavours in a plush yet contemporary setting, adorned with an eclectic mix of colourful patterns and fabrics, and head up to the roof terrace for inventive house cocktails.

Beer-battered oysters and kohlrabi are highlights for starters, followed by pork belly with mustard lentils and salsa verde or tuna with chorizo for main. You might find vanilla crème brûlée with Armagnac poached prunes on the seasonally changing menu, for an autumnal twist on the popular dessert.

The bar at Ham Yard in Soho has its own menu, offering snacks, sliders and melts as well as a selection of ‘profitabombes’ for a sweet treat. Afternoon tea is exceptionally popular here, with sweet and savoury favourites served alongside a wide range of teas.

A unique setting, the Ham Yard in London even boasts its own bowling alley. Ham Yard is found a 3-minute walk from Piccadilly Circus Tube Station.

Great service. They accommodated several different dietary requests and changes to the menu without any problems. The tea was good and the atmosphere was lovely.

Great location and uber trendy feel to this fab upmarket, yet not so pretentious, hotel/bar/restaurant/pinball alley,

met up with another family who had made booking there. Wanted to sit together- woman on phone was rude and said tables already booked. However when we got there, a lovely gentleman greeted us saying he put our tables together and we all got to sit together which was really lovely. We had afternoon tea and everything was delicious and perfect except the despacio (cold soup) was really quite revolting. Everything else including the service cleanliness taste of food was really good. They forgot 2 scones for us but once we said it was rectified.

Booked a champagne afternoon tea as a surprise birthday treat for two friends from overseas. Having done my research and read the positive online reviews beforehand, my expectations were high. Alas, the food was average: reasonably pretty to look at but the sandwiches weren't scrumptious and the cakes and scones weren't moreish. Servings were small to the point of stinginess - I know afternoon tea is an elegant affair but even after ordering a second round of sandwiches we still felt peckish. On that point, my recommendation to management would be to increase the prices and offer limitless replenishment. It's not the best start to have staff explain the pricing system before you begin, especially if you are treating friends. The best part of this 'experience' was the staff, who were lovely and super-attentive. What a shame their service was not matched by the food.
