An escape from the lively hustle and bustle of Soho, Ham Yard Bar & Restaurant offers modern British cuisine. Enjoy classic flavours in a plush yet contemporary setting, adorned with an eclectic mix of colourful patterns and fabrics, and head up to the roof terrace for inventive house cocktails.
Beer-battered oysters and kohlrabi are highlights for starters, followed by pork belly with mustard lentils and salsa verde or tuna with chorizo for main. You might find vanilla crème brûlée with Armagnac poached prunes on the seasonally changing menu, for an autumnal twist on the popular dessert.
The bar at Ham Yard in Soho has its own menu, offering snacks, sliders and melts as well as a selection of ‘profitabombes’ for a sweet treat. Afternoon tea is exceptionally popular here, with sweet and savoury favourites served alongside a wide range of teas.
A unique setting, the Ham Yard in London even boasts its own bowling alley. Ham Yard is found a 3-minute walk from Piccadilly Circus Tube Station.

The interior of the restaurant was lovely and the afternoon tea pastries were festively presented. We liked the champagne and scones a lot! It was a bit of a pity when we indicated that one of us cannot have grapefruit but our dessert came with grapefruit. The restaurant did compensate us which made us feel that they took it seriously.

Lovely food, but appalling service!! No waiter was assigned to our table after our initial order, we we unable to get their attention, they were all totally confused. Never had an experience like this before. The room was noisy so we had a hard time hearing each other, and there was much draught. Will definitely not come back.

Lovely service at afternoon tea. Delicious treats! Stayed for a drink later on - extremely expensive glasses of wine, so would think twice about going there again for a drink.

Particularly enjoyable never felt rushed. Savouries were plentiful and lots of choice. Scones were delicious and particularly as they were still warm. Cakes were plentiful, mouthwatering and spoilt for choice.I preferred the savouries but I am a savoury person but I still really enjoyed what cakes I had.

Great afternoon tea, good value at £22 per head. Food was delicious and plentiful, service excellent and seating both comfortable and spacious, enabling confidentiality. Will be back!
