I booked the jazz afternoon tea for my parents anniversary which my dad said was excellent and he thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon. The staff were very friendly cheery and helpful. My mum especially enjoyed the variety of sandwiches and my dad loved the cakes !

Visited the restaurant for Afternoon Tea with a group of ladies to celebrate my sisters 30th birthday. All group members enjoyed dining here. Plenty of food for only £20 per person. And the scones were beautiful and very large. Staff accommodated those who did not drink tea by offering coffee and cold drinks. We felt really welcome and relaxed for the four hours we spent here. I would definitely dine here again.

Oh dear! Thankfully, my table made the best of an interesting afternoon. The service was terrible. What happened to the management on that day? The food when it arrived was good. It took so long to be served, people were leaving. They also appeared to be understaffed that day too. We stuck it out. As a gesture of good will, the bistro did not charge us for our drinks. Some of the above was due to the online booking service. So that should be taken into account.
